On May 8th, LA CaTS Center leadership and the Professional Development Core celebrated
the 2025 graduates from the Roadmap Scholars Program. Dr. Nell Bond (Tulane School
of Medicine) and Dr. Derek Werthmann (Tulane School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine)
received a Master of Science in Clinical Research (MSCR) degree from Tulane University.
The Roadmap Scholars Program provides the support for junior faculty who are just
entering the field of clinical and translational research. The Professional Development
Core team will actively monitor and support the scholars' success throughout their
careers, demonstrating the overall impact of program.
The graduation celebration took place at Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. The celebration also included the currently active Roadmap Scholars working towards their MSCR.
