The Cardiovascular-Renal Research Center (CRRC) at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) is hosting the 2nd Graduate Student Cardiovascular Renal Research Symposium on October 23, 2023. We invite all graduate students who have qualified for candidacy in a relevant Ph.D. program and can provide a letter of support from their program director or research mentor.
The CRRC will provide a $ 750 travel award and 2-night hotel accommodations for up to 25 students to attend the symposium. All awardees will have the opportunity to give an oral presentation along with several networking events.
The 2023 travel award competition will accept applications through midnight on August 25, 2023. Awardees will be announced by September 4, 2023, and notification will be sent by email.
Eligibility: Ph.D. candidates
