Congratulations to Dr. Leanne Redman, Associate Executive Director for Scientific
Education at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, as she is the recipient of the
2021 Thomas A Wadden Distinguished Mentorship Award from The Obesity Society. Dr.
Redman currently serves as Co-Director of the LA CaTS Center Professional Development
Core. We are proud to highlight Dr. Redman’s career advancement and research success
attributed by LA CaTS Center resources, from being one of the first researchers from
Pennington Biomedical to complete the Masters of Science in Clinical Research from
Tulane University (the current Roadmap Scholar’s Program track) to now serving in
a key leadership role for the LA CaTS Center. We wish Dr. Redman continued success
as an outstanding mentor in obesity research.
