REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a web-based data capture tool that does not require client local software and can be accessed from anywhere on the Internet. The LA CaTS Cyberinfrastructure team provides the use of the REDCap software as a service for LA CaTS member investigators and their teams to collect study data. This service includes the REDCap application software hosted in a web server, disk space for data storage, regular system backups, software patches and upgrades, basic training courses, online documentation, and database/survey development assistance.

On August 31, 2017, the Cyberinfrastructure Enhancement team will host a REDCap Online Help Session (via Skype for Business). This will be the first session in a series of reoccurring sessions that are planned. This will be an interactive session that will feature topics such as new information and tips on using REDCap, how to get started, troubleshoot issues with current databases, and/or other areas of interest.  During these sessions, participants will be allowed to share their computer screen with the experts to allow for a more productive question and feedback session. More details to come!
