LA CaTS Seminar - Team Science
Organized by the Clinical Research Education, Mentoring & Career Development Core
November 22, 2013
Tulane University - New Orleans
J. Bennett Johnston Building, 1st Floor, Conference Room-111

As part of the Education, Mentoring and Career Development Core activities of the LA CaTS Center, we will have a Career Development Retreat on November 22, 2013 in the JBJ Building Mezzanine from 9AM to 5PM. This is the first of our sessions which focus on specific research career development topics - in this case, TEAM SCIENCE.  The LA CaTS Roadmap and Meritorious Scholars will present progress on their projects as 20 minute Oral Presentations. There will be project posters displayed by LA CaTS and other trainees.

Our featured speaker, Roee Holtzer, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Neuroscience at Albert Einstein College of Medicine will lecture on the skills and strategies of successful team science.

LA CaTS mentors and mentees will be able to participate in an open discussion with panel members discussing their challenges and successes with Team Science.  The goal is to increase skills and comfort in Team Science and prepare to expand team work and collaborations among the LA CaTS institutions.

Please RSVP to DeNean La Roche at dlaroch1@tulane.edu by November 15th, 2013.
