LA CaTS Community Engagement Director Named on Mayor-elect Transition Team

Congratulations to Dr. Kathleen Kennedy, Dean of Xavier University's School of Pharmacy, who was named as co-chair for the New Orleans Mayor-elect, LaToya Cantrell, transition team. Dr. Kennedy served as Director of the LA CaTS Community Engagement and Outreach Core for the past 5 years and has been a key contributor the center's success.

About the Louisiana Clinical and Translational Science (LA CaTS) Center

The LA CaTS Center is comprised of three primary collaborating institutions in the state, including LSU's Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge, LSU Health in New Orleans, and Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans – and also includes six research partners: LSU Health in Shreveport, Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and in New Orleans, Xavier University of Louisiana, Children’s Hospital, Ochsner Health System, Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System, and University Medical Center.
