LA CaTS Coordinators Level 1 Training-October 11, 2019

Please save the date for the LA CaTS Clinical Research Coordinators Level 1 Training, which will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Tulane University (1440 Canal Street, Room 1208). Registration will start at 7:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast, and the training will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided and all participants will receive an LA CaTS Level 1 Research Coordinator Training Certificate, upon completion. The session is free and open to all LA CaTS institutions.

Topics covered include: Role of the Clinical Research Coordinator, Case Report Forms (CRFs) and Electronic Data Capture (EDC), Regulations and Good Clinical Practices, Product Development, Pre-study Preparations, Protocols, Quality Documentation, Study Closures, Adverse Events, and Monitoring, Audits and Inspections.
